Return & Cancellation Policy
Some items may not be in immediate stock and I will need to create pieces.
The time it takes will depend on the piece, ranging from a couple weeks to a month.
I hope you understand and are patient, as I am the only creator, and my knitwear is all made by hand.
You may return or exchange any item within 14 days of receiving it. We cannot accept returns that has been damaged, altered, or worn. To make a return or exchange, please call or send e-mail within 10 days of your order: email@example.com (608) 257-3794.
Items may be returned for a refund of the purchase price only; shipping charges will not be refunded. You will receive your refund in the same form of payment used to place your order. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Your replacement order will not be mailed until we receive your return item and the timing of sending your exchange item will depend on the piece. It may take some time to make the new piece. If your exchange costs more than the original order, you must pay the difference. If your exchange costs less than the original order, you will receive Kaoru Izushi Knit Design credit for the difference.
Special or Custom Orders
Special orders and custom orders cannot be returned unless they are damaged in transit. You will be informed at the time of purchase if an item is not returnable.
We realize that the 14-day return window may not be feasible for gifts, and we will accept gift returns within an extended time frame. If you return a gift, you may choose to receive Kaoru Izushi Knit Design credit or to have the buyer refunded for the purchase price of the item.
Items Damaged in Transit

Return Shipping Costs
You have responsibility to pay for shipping costs unless items are damaged in transit.
You will receive your refund in the same form of payment used to place your order. Note that we cannot provide refunds for any items that have been damaged, altered, or worn. You will be credited for the price of the item minus the cost of shipping. Note that the original shipping charges will not be refunded. If your return was a gift, you may choose to receive Kaoru Izushi Knit Design credit or to have the buyer refunded for the purchase price of the item. If you provided an email address when you ordered, we will notify you of the status of your return via email.
Any order can be canceled before it is shipped. To cancel an order, please email email@example.com or call (608) 257-3794. You will receive your refund in the same form of payment used to place your order.
